After graduating from Northern Illinois University, Renée began her career in retail banking in 2006 at J.P. Morgan Chase in the Chicago area, eventually leaving to join an independent financial planning firm in Downers Grove, IL. With an eye toward becoming an advisor one day, she secured her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2015 and shortly thereafter, joined Dunlap & Associates.
Renée spends her time helping clients identify and achieve their goals through a comprehensive financial planning approach. She understands that most people have some understandable concerns about their financial futures, and her mission is to ease those worries by helping to design an appropriate savings strategy as well as a sustainable, tax-efficient income plan.
She especially enjoys working with our female clientele, particularly those who are going through a life transition such as a divorce or loss of a spouse. As someone who has been through a divorce herself, Renee aspires to help women gain more confidence about their finances and, hopefully, minimize some of their stress during such an emotional time.
Renée lives in Peachtree City with her daughter, Chloe, and soon to be husband, Jack. They love the outdoors and spend most of their free time poolside, riding around on their One-Wheels, or taking their Goldendoodle, Happy, on long walks.
