Allison grew up in Peachtree City and worked part-time with Dunlap & Associates before heading off to college at Auburn University where she received her degree in Communication. She joined the family business as a full-time employee in 2010. She plans all of our client events, maintains our social media and web presences, manages Ray's calendar and is available to notarize any important client documents.
Q. What do you enjoy most about your work?
A. Planning events for our clients. I love spending time with our clients and their friends outside of the office, and I really enjoy trying to come up with fun, unique event ideas that they may otherwise not get to experience.
Q. In another life, what would you be doing?
A. I’d harness all of my crazy-cat-lady energy and open a cat shelter!
Q. What are some of your hobbies outside of the office?
A. What’s a “hobby”? I have a very wild toddler and a full time job…definitely no time for extra curriculars at the moment, but maybe I’ll have free time again one day!
Q. Who is your business hero?
A. My mother in law, Peggy. Prior to her retirement, she was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for a large insurance company. While her career accomplishments are very impressive, the thing that impresses me the most was her ability to always put her children first. I think a lot of working mothers struggle with balancing their careers and their children, and making sure they’re giving 100% in both areas. She was able to give her very best to her family and to her job, and was also a great role model to her children as a strong female leader, and I really admire her for that.
